Pinducers
 Valpey Fisher Corporation (VF) was the first in its industry to introduce the VP-1093 Pinducer and the VP-1063 MiniPin. These miniature transducers were originally designed for shock wave applications. More recently, newer applications have been developed, such as acoustic emission receivers and sound field characterization of Ultrasonic Transducers. In order to keep pace with newer markets, VF has developed the custom Pinducer and MiniPin by incorporating standard NDT fabrication techniques, such as quarter-wave matching layers and dense backings to dramatically increase bandwidth and sensitivity.
