Distribution Amplifiers
While CTS Valpey's Time & Frequency Systems standards provide high quality references for a wide range of different equipment, in many cases the signal outputs available (usually limited to one or two pulse/frequency/time outputs) is insufficient to drive the number of other units requiring the references.
“Splitting” outputs to increase their quantity is not a simple matter as the output/input impedances need to be carefully matched to preserve signal quality.
CTS Valpey has a number high performance Distribution Amplifiers, designed to preserve signal quality while increasing the number of outputs available to the user. The Distribution Amplifiers have been designed to cater for the particular type of signal they are to distribute, namely HF, RF, Digital or Time Code.

Auto Switches
Many applications utilizing precision Frequency References have extremely stringent requirements for system uptime. In order to meet these requirements, systems will typically have designed in redundancy, so no single point of failure can cause the overall system to fail.
In order to provide this capability for Precision Frequency References, Valpey Fisher has a series of Auto Switch products, from simple level detection to highly sophisticated sensing capability, ultra fast switching options and full Ethernet connectivity to provide remote monitoring control and integration with SNMP management systems. Multi-channel input capability is also available.
A unique feature is the ability to switch input pairs of RF and Pulse signals. The Precise Frequency Reference is used in conjunction with a precise timing pulse for synchronization (usually 1 PPS).
